Hi, I'm a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse who works in Washington DC. I grew up in western Pennsylvania, small town named Somerset, and I have lived in Laurel, MD since 1993. I graduated from Fort Meade High school in 1995, Saint Francis College (University now) in December of 1999 where I'd been in the Physician Assistant program but didn't finish it but earned an alternative degree in Health Sciences as I had the credits. I worked at Galyans in Gaitherburg a few years eventually becoming the Assistant head of cash before getting a jot as a medical assistant in the Doctors office of Drs Hauck and Bianchi for the next few years. Then I got accepted into the accelerated Nursing program at Johns Hopkins University which I graduated from in 2003. I have worked at Children's National Medical Center on their Medical care unit for just about 5 years and while working there earned my Masters of nursing education online via the University of Phoenix which I finished in January and graduated from in May. I moved from the Medical Care unit to the PICU in March for a new challenge, which it definitely has been!

I'm single and trying to find a husband and still live at home with my Mom, step-father (Russ) and step-sister (Susie). I'm a very proud Aunt of my sister, Cyndi's daughter, Katelynn. I tend to spend my days working, babysitting, and trying to maintain my sanity. I love to travel when I have the opportunity and have been on a cruise to the eastern Caribean, to Rome for 10 days in November of 2007, to Germany a few years before that, and I'm planning a long weekend to visit my Dad who lives on San Pedro Island, Belize. My family is very important to me and I do treasure every moment I get to spend with them.
